The Rensoft Freight Forwarding Suite consists of the following modules:

Air Freight Exports

The Air Freight Exports module is used to create House, Direct, Neutral and Master Air Waybills, manifests, invoices and other associated documentation. Consolidations can be created automatically by the user selection to allow you to take full advantage of bulk discounts. The whole process is facilitated by a comprehensive database comprising of customer and consignee records, airline tariffs, ancillary tariffs and customer terms. Air waybill creation can be automated, including the selection of the best tariff. Automatic links to Job Costing watches over profitability. Whilst automatic update of the Sale Ledger and Nominal Ledger keeps your accounts up to date.

Air Freight Imports

The Direct Imports module implements the same concept of an underlying database as the Exports module, speeding the task of data entry and document preparation.

The Break Bulk module allows the swift breakdown of consignments to their components, facilitating prompt delivery and billing. Automatic links to Job Costing watches over profitability, whilst automatic update of the Sales Ledger keeps your accounts up to date.

Ocean Exports

The Ocean Freight Exports module implements the same concept of an underlying database as the Air Freight modules. Shipper and Carrier details may be updated from the Sales Ledger module of the Accoutning System, and a link back to Sales Ledger allows the automatic allocation of pre-paid and collect charges to shipper and carrier as appropriate. As the database also contains details of destination, ports, vessels, countries, world zones and agents charges, booking clerks are able to concentrate on service and profitability rather than keying in. In common with other modules in the Rensoft Freight System, Ocean Freight Exports has direct links to the Job Costing module.

Courier Operations

Courier Express was designed to meet the large scale high turnover demands of busy courier. Jobs are entered on receipt, and with a high level of automation, this operation takes a minimum amount of effort. Manifest and POD details are swiftly generated from job details and can be output to printer, fax or EDI. Comprehensive screen inquiry facilities and reports allow you to closely monitor performance, whilst direct links to Job Costing and Sales Ledger attend to profitability and accounting.

Freight Job Costing

The Job Costing module is used to record cost and income information for jobs in order to monitor actual performance against budget and to provide information on the potential profitability of each job. Directly updated by the operational modules of the Rensoft Freight System, Job Costing may also be linked to the Invoicing, Sales, Purchase and Nominal Ledger modules of the Accounting System.

Freight Fax Interface

The Freight Fax Interface is a suite of programs that permit the faxing of ANY printed report, without the user having to leave the desk. Manifests, POD's and pre-alerts to the overseas agent are generated without the need to re-type any information. This software works in conjunction with our UNIX fax product.

• A database of contacts and fax numbers is stored on the client file
